George Peabody Library – Baltimore

George Peabody Library

Part 2 of our Baltimore trip centered around the reason for our trip to the home of the Ravens and Orioles, Adam and Colleen’s wedding at the George Peabody Library! Check out Part 1 to hear about our other Baltimore adventures such as going to Atomic Books, seeing Meryl Streep, and touring Fort McHenry! Needless to say, any book/library lover should immediately add the George Peabody Library to their bucket list! I first became aquatinted with this library when Adam and Colleen showed us photos of their wedding venue last fall.  Predictably, the library was even more stunning in person and made for an absolute dream as a wedding venue! The first five photos are of the library prior to the wedding preparations, followed by the remaining images taking place during the ceremony and reception. Again, some of the photos were captured by Luke’s friend Eric!  Luke and I had a blast catching up with friends and celebrating with Adam and Colleen at their beautiful wedding!  ❤

  1. Thanks for sharing this. It’s looks incredible. I live super close to Baltimore, and work at a library and somehow did not know this existed. I think you’ve inspired a trip. Thanks again!

  2. So stunning!! What a beautiful place to have a wedding. It feels like a scene from Beauty and the Beast. I graduated from high school in Southern Maryland and we still have friends in Baltimore. I will need to put this at the top of my list of places to visit when we are in the area again!

  3. It’s a shame to say I live in Maryland my whole life and went to college in Baltimore and have never been to the Peabody. I’ve always heard it’s a beautiful place and bbq what a place to hold a wedding. It looks gorgeous.

  4. What an amazing library and, truly, a dream wedding location for bookworms. I first heard about this library when I took a History of Library Architecture class. Can’t wait to see it in person.
