I really enjoyed Name of the Wind more than I thought as it was out of my ‘normal’ reading genre. Look forward to reading what you think about it

I love Name of the Wind! I’d forgotten to change this page to the sequel. Check out my review here: Name of the Wind by Patrick Rothfuss – The Critiquing Chemist

Have you read the sequel?

Hi, question for you about audiobooks, recommend them over reading? Which style do you prefer? Benefit of audiobooks?
Thanks, happy reading 🙂

If you enjoyed Tolkien, RR Martin, and MZ Bradley, then you should check out Tad Williams’ “Memory, Sorrow and Thorns” trilogy–I also enjoyed his “Otherland” series, though that’s more sci-fi than fantasy.

You have some interesting books here! I do wish George would get on with the next thousand page epic! Heard he might be redoing some of the earlier books!

I agree! I can’t wait to get my next GOT fix. However, I won’t push him! I would hate for the next book to feel rushed.

I like your lists. Many of your favorites bring back memories. I’ll have to look into some of the more recents, but I NEVER read Stephen King’s works.

Wanted so say thanks for stopping by my blog (Alligators & Aneurysms). Was happy to see Victor Milan and Patrick Rothfuss on your docket as well (I’m looking at an AMA of Victor Milan on Reddit right now).
Will stay tuned for reviews! 🙂

I saw that Victor was going to do an AMA! How is it going? Is he offering any fun insight? Did you read the Dinosaur Lords?

Sarah, I love your site and the care you’ve put into your reviews. I ran across the title “The Summer That Melted Everything” just yesterday and I found your review today. I am glad to find a blogger with literary interests that expand my own (I love YA lit, and Children’s Lit.) Thanks and keep up the good work!
