Medium: KindleBook

Overview (No Spoilers): Cia Vale, a resident of the remote Five Lakes Colony, is honored to have been one of the first students selected from her colony in ten years to participate in the Testing to potentially gain acceptance to the University in the capital, Tou City. However, Cia’s moral compass soon becomes challenged with other students looking for  an easier way to eliminate the competition, as they realized every question answered becomes a matter of life or death. The Testing is an enjoyable, quick read with heavy similarities to the Hunger Games, Divergent, and Maze Runner. Overall, Charbonneau’s novel is a worthwhile read, exploring what qualities, decision-making skills and morality comprise a good leader. Will Cia survive The Testing to continue on to her lifelong dream of attending the University?
